PHP Fullstack Developer (f/m/d)

Job description

We in zooplus are currently looking for a great PHP Fullstack developer familiar with our backend tech stack to join one of our teams and contribute to the further success of the team and the company. Here are some things about us that we take pride in:

Your tasks

  • Developing and continuously delivering applications for one of the most successful e-commerce platforms in Europe
  • Participating in the complete software development life cycle from concept through coding to testing and maintaining
  • Work autonomously in an agile team
  • Participate actively and collaboratively in Daily meetings, Planning, Refinement, Review, and Retrospective
  • Participate in technical and architectural discussions and decisions as a team
  • Deliver value and quality by developing new features, maintaining existing products, and improving infrastructure if needed
  • Discovering and solving the digital challenges of delivering a full e-commerce stack
  • Strive for mastery in a challenging agile environment using state-of-the-art technologies

Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • Working experience of minimum 1-2 years in a similar field
  • Knowledge of PHP5+, XML, JSON, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
  • Knowledge of Oracle or MySQL
  • Practical experience in the backend
  • Practical experience in Wordpress Theme and Plugin development
  • Comfortable with Frontend tasks
  • Experience in dealing with version control systems
  • An agile mindset and ideally already experience with Scrum, Kanban, or XP
  • Solution-driven and collaborative approach

Nice to have

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar experience
  • German language is a plus but not required
  • Vue/React/Laravel Jenkins, AWS, Docker, Jira, Confluence
  • Experience in e-commerce

The gross annual salary for this position (38.5 hours/week) is between 36,000 – 60,000 EUR depending on your qualification and experience.
