zooplus processes your application details for the sole purpose of assessing your professional competence and to contact you (Art. 6 (1). b GDPR, Section 26 BDSG [German Federal Data Protection Act]). Your application documents shall only be forwarded to those departments that require these for evaluating the application and for recruitment purposes (HR department, the technical department responsible for posting the job, legal department, zooplus management). We use Recruitee (www.recruitee.com), the HR software developed by Recruitee B.V., Johan Huizingalaan 763A, 1066 VH Amsterdam, Netherlands, for the application process. In this respect, we have concluded a commissioned processing contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR to ensure that your data is processed only as instructed by us and that it is protected in accordance with the highest security standards.
We do not process your application data outside the European Union or in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
zooplus shall only store your data for as long as is necessary to complete the application procedure or, in the event that you are offered a job, to conduct the employment relationship. If you are not offered a job at this time, we shall delete your application documents no later than 6 months after we have made our decision, unless you have given us your express consent to add your name to our pool of applicants, permitting us to contact you should we have another job/position for you.
We do not use any automated decision-making processes, including profiling, in our application procedure. You are not obligated by law or under contract to provide any data. However, please understand that we may not be able to consider your application if you do not provide us with full details.
You have the right at any to time to request confirmation that we process personal data and the right to receive information about this personal data.
